"Balance of maximum performance under real laboratory conditions" / #11/7/2023
Dott.
ENGLISHMain learning objectivesUnderstand how to achieve the lowest minimum sample weight value over the entire weighing range and what the benefits areExplore the differences between published specifications and actual laboratory performance of a high resolution analytical balanceFind out how to eliminate static effects in the most effective and economical wayFind out how the new high-capacity microbalances from Sartorius have set the benchmark for performance under real laboratory conditionsInformationBalancing maximum performance under real laboratory conditionsThe characteristics of a high resolution analytical balance are that they have a high weighing capacity and low readability and are used to weigh very small sample quantities directly into larger flasks. It is widely used in laboratories across many industries that are often subject to strict legal regulations and are looking for balances that meet the requirements of high accuracy and repeatability. However, a challenging laboratory environment or sample effects often adversely affect measurement accuracy. In this webinar, Dr. Eszter Paldy and Dr. Holger Densow from Sartorius will explain what deviations a user can expect in the minimum sample weight values measured in the laboratory compared to the datasheet specifications. They will also discuss how the accuracy and speed of the weighing process is affected by the effects of a particular environment or sample. Finally, they will reveal how the new high-resolution balance Sartorius Cubis® II sets the benchmark in terms of performance under real laboratory conditions.
