Il sedicesimo webinar #DiCultHer della serie 2022-23, in programmazione per il giorno 17 febbraio 2023 ha per titolo: “#ONTHEMOVE. TERRITORI CRITICI CHE SI TRASFORMANO E SI RACCONTANO”.

Un webinar per presentare alcune realtà territoriali “raccontate” con gli occhi di chi le ha vissute o chi le vive tuttora. Un incontro per “raccontare” la bellezza dei nostri territori, e il loro intrecciarsi con le nuove tecnologie digitali e di comunicazione in rete.

Il nostro paese e l’Europa traboccano di meraviglie: ovunque rivolgiamo lo sguardo possiamo trovare diverse espressioni di Bellezza che sono uniche per quel preciso territorio. Le diverse unicità messe insieme creano quell’incredibile caleidoscopio di bellezze che è il nostro paese in Europa, diventando parte integrante della nostra identità, di cui, calati in questa bellezza da sempre, troppo spesso la diamo per scontata.

Un incontro, strettamente connesso alla #Sfida n. 5 “ItiterarioBellezza” di #HackCultura2023, l’Hackathon delle studentesse e degli studenti per la promozione della cultura digitale e la “Titolarità culturale”, promossa in collaborazione con la Fondazione Italia patria di bellezza (https://youtu.be/QuTBf0bkKI8). Un incontro nella visione del New European Bauhaus (NEB), in attuazione della Convenzione di Faro del Consiglio d’Europa sul valore dell’eredità culturale per la società.

Possono le ICT e le piattaforme digitali, la realtà aumentata e le learning platforms and machines contribuire all’ampliamento della consapevolezza del valore dei nostri patrimoni culturali condivisi, siano essi materiali e immateriali?  Con il webinar di oggi, certamente non riusciremo a dar conto della tanta “bellezza” del nostro paese, vogliamo viceversa, leggere e raccontare alcuni territori italiani, partendo da specifiche esperienze promosse dalle tante organizzazioni che danno senso e contenuto all’attività di #DicultHer.

Vogliamo anche chiederci come la partecipazione dei cittadini, degli studenti, dei ricercatori, delle comunità ai processi di salvaguardia e valorizzazione della bellezza e del valore territoriale possano essere coadiuvati dall’innovazione tecnologica e con quali cautele e strumenti si debba affrontare la sfida delle nuove titolarità e soggettività culturali nelle aree cosiddette interne, svantaggiate, rurali, che custodiscono, però, un patrimonio straordinario di spazi, saperi e pratiche da supportare e custodire con mezzi e forme nuovi e creativi. Come si possa “riabitare l’Italia” anche attraverso un uso consapevole del potenziale tecnologico e della comunicazione in rete e creare le interconnessioni per una nuova cultura trasversale ai luoghi e alle comunità che vada oltre i limiti e le distanze geografiche.

L’obiettivo quindi dell’incontro del 17 febbraio, partendo da queste esperienze, è quello di risvegliare le coscienze e acuire la capacità di riconoscere la grande bellezza, a volte riposta e poco conosciuta, che è presente ovunque nel nostro paese, andare a scovare le tante storie racchiuse nei luoghi in cui viviamo e che rendono l’Italia un paese straordinario e raccontarle al mondo, cercando di mettere a sistema quel genius loci che lo compone per farne una storia coerente, nella visione del New European Bauhaus (NEB), di cui #DicultHer è partner ufficiale e della Convenzione di Faro.

The sixteenth #DiCultHer webinar of the 2022-23 series, scheduled for February 17, 2023, is entitled: “#ONTHEMOVE. CRITICAL TERRITORIES THAT TRANSFORM AND TELL THEMSELVES”.

A webinar to present some territorial realities "told" with the eyes of those who have lived them or those who still live them. A meeting to "tell" the beauty of our territories, and their intertwining with new digital technologies and online communication.

Our country and Europe are overflowing with marvels: wherever we look we can find different expressions of Beauty that are unique to that precise territory. The different uniqueness put together create that incredible kaleidoscope of beauty that is our country in Europe, becoming an integral part of our identity, of which, having always immersed ourselves in this beauty, we too often take it for granted.

A meeting, closely connected to the #Challenge n. 5 "ItiterarioBellezza" of #HackCultura2023, the Hackathon of male and female students for the promotion of digital culture and "Cultural Ownership", promoted in collaboration with the Italy Homeland of Beauty Foundation (https://youtu.be/QuTBf0bkKI8) . A meeting in the vision of the New European Bauhaus (NEB), in implementation of the Faro Convention of the Council of Europe on the value of cultural heritage for society.

Can ICT and digital platforms, augmented reality and learning platforms and machines contribute to broadening awareness of the value of our shared cultural heritages, both tangible and intangible? With today's webinar, we certainly won't be able to account for the so much "beauty" of our country, we want to read and tell some Italian territories, starting from specific experiences promoted by the many organizations that give meaning and content to the activity of #DicultHer .

We also want to ask ourselves how the participation of citizens, students, researchers, communities in the processes of safeguarding and enhancing territorial beauty and value can be assisted by technological innovation and with what precautions and tools we must face the challenge of new ownership and cultural subjectivities in the so-called internal, disadvantaged, rural areas, which nonetheless preserve an extraordinary heritage of spaces, knowledge and practices to be supported and safeguarded with new and creative means and forms. How Italy can be "reinhabited" also through a conscious use of the technological potential and of online communication and to create the interconnections for a new culture that cuts across places and communities that goes beyond geographical limits and distances.

Therefore, the objective of the meeting of February 17, starting from these experiences, is to awaken consciences and sharpen the ability to recognize the great beauty, sometimes hidden away and little known, which is present everywhere in our country, to go and find the many stories enclosed in the places where we live and which make Italy an extraordinary country and tell them to the world, trying to systematize that genius loci that composes it to make it a coherent story, in the vision of the New European Bauhaus (NEB), of which #DicultHer is an official partner and of the Faro Convention.
