Quando sei immerso nel non giudicare al cento per cento, un puro testimone, significa che sei diventato solo uno specchio, perché lo specchio non giudica mai: se una donna brutta si rispecchia, non ha giudizi; se è una bella donna a guardarsi, non fa alcuna differenza. Se non c’è nessuno, lo specchio è puro come quando ci si riflette qualcuno: nessuna immagine riflessa lo muove, e neppure la sua assenza. Essere un testimone diventa uno specchio; e questa è una notevole realizzazione nella meditazione. A questo punto sei arrivato a metà strada, e hai fatto la parte più dura; adesso conosci il segreto, e lo stesso segreto dev’essere semplicemente applicato a oggetti diversi.
